Off the beaten track tour:
Day 1: Arrival in Brønnøysund
Your guides will meet you at Brønnøysund airport and drive the group to your accommodation.
Dinner and night in Brønnøysund.
Day 2: Torghatten
For your first day in the Land of the Trolls, you will discover Torghatten, the hat-shaped mountain formed during the Ice Age. Its distinctive hole that allows you to see and walk all the way through the rock. If you are wondering how it happened, our guides will share the legends of Torghatten while hiking through the 160-metre-long and 35-metre-high tunnel.

Day 3: Trollvasstinden
After breakfast, we will take the ferry and head towards Vega Island and the surrounding archipelago, listed as the UNESCO World Heritage. Our hike takes you to the highest summit of the island where you will get a 360° view of the archipelago and the blue ocean as far as the eye can see. Our local guides will explain the Norwegian lifestyle on the islands, how the fishermen’s villages work, the customs and habits of these incredible places.

Day 4: Gravtinden
Today we will hike up to Gravtinden, which means “Grave Peak”, a dramatic name given for the stunning and dramatic view of the Fjords once you get to the summit. The path will first lead you through forests and endless mountain landscapes before getting to this magical and mystical view. Norway is well famous for its fjords and this one will not disappoint. Formed by the glacier during Ice Age, the fjords open towards the sea, the name means “where one travels through”.
Ever dreamt of being on the top of a mountain with an overlooking view of the fjords? Today, we will realize your dream. Cherry on the top? This hike is far away from the tourist crowds, even some locals do not know this trail, so you will likely get the view for yourselves.

Day 5: Trælneshatten
On this hike, you will discover typical Norwegian landscapes. Admire the beauty of the wilderness, hike up to a rocky plateau to get a better view of the sea and its surroundings, and if you are lucky enough you will have the visit of some local sheep cheering you on during your climb. Breathtaking views, a real off the beaten track experience, today is all about getting epic nature moments!

Day 6: Sæterfjellet
We will start today’s hike with an incredible view of Velfjorden, this district is well-known for its ancient history of farming and fishing. We will hike up and through lush Scandinavian forests. The higher we get, the better the view, admiring the contrast between the turquoise water, the green forests and the dark grey of the rocks.
Another day, another adventure and breathtaking view! Once we reach the summit, we will get a 360° view of the ocean, the town of Velfjord and the  Lomsdal-Visten National Park.

Day 7: Hornstinden
Today, we will reach the highest point of your trip, and besides the climb, the view will leave you speechless!Â
Away from the crowds, you will get the opportunity to experience untouched nature. We will hike through this astonishing wilderness until we reach the summit. Once there, we will be able to overlook the Seven Sisters, 7 impressive summits standing right next to each other. Like Torghatten, the “Seven Sisters” also played a role in the legend of how the mountains of Nordland came into being.

Day 8: Kayak
What would a Norwegian experience be without being on the sea? Get ready for a real adventure on the kayak!
This experience will give you the opportunity to discover the fjords and coasts in slow motion, aboard your kayak, you will paddle through the crystal-clear waters to discover little islands and the surrounding wildlife. Your instructor will give you safety instructions and teach you a few tips. They will even demonstrate how they free-dive and spearfish! Wondering what’s for lunch? The fresh catch of the day! Cooked and seasoned by your instructors who also happen to be chefs (vegetarian option possible). How can your day be more Norwegian?

Day 9: Departure from Brønnøysund
After breakfast, your guides will drive the group to Brønnøysund airport.
Note: The group has a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 12 people.
The itinerary, distances and elevations may vary slightly for numerous reasons beyond our control including weather and terrain conditions. The program may vary according to the weather conditions, your guide(s) will be the one in charge of the decisions.

- 8 nights in private rooms (2 people sharing a double or twin room).
- Meals: 8 breakfasts, 7 picnics and 2 dinners (Day 1 and Day 8).
- Skills, knowledge, supervision of our 2 trilingual local guides (French, Norwegian and English).

F.A.Q.
Norway
Summer in Norway is during the months of June, July and August. It promises long days and warmer temperatures. You will get to experience the famous midnight sun. August will be less touristy as well. The temperature can be between 15-25°C.
Your local guides can actually speak Norwegian, French and English. They are 2 adventure lovers willing to share their beautiful region and stunning landscapes.
In Norway, in general people speak english quite fluently.
The different hikes are a medium level, with some steep parts but very doable and no technical parts. You will be accompanied by your guides along the way.
The level is beginner.
The currency is the NOK, there will be ATMs in Brønnøysund but Norwegian mostly use credit cards (Visa).Â
There is an airport in Brønnøysund, you can get a flight from Oslo to this airport. From there, we will pick you up and drive to your accommodation.
