HIKING FROM BELLEVUE TO PRAIRION
Reach the Col de Voza!
This medium-altitude mountain hike starts at the Bellevue summit and ends at the Prairion gondola. During this hike, you will enjoy views of the Aiguilles de Bionnassay, du Goûter and the famous Tramway du Mont-Blanc. You will reach the Col de Voza for an exceptional panorama! From the Col you climb up to Prairion. An accessible hike through alpine meadows, with a 300m vertical drop. Allow 3 to 4 hours round trip for this hike, and note that variants can be considered by bypassing the Charme mountains if you wish to extend your hike.
LA CASCADE DE DARD
A place well worth a visit!
Located near the entrance of the Mont Blanc Tunnel, this waterfall is well worth a visit! From the Grépon parking lot, there are several routes to the waterfall. Nestling in the middle of greenery, this waterfall and its refreshment bar are well worth a visit.
LA CASCADE DE BÉRARD
A wilderness site!
A wild and impressive site accessible via a path that starts at the Buet parking lot and makes a round trip through the typical hamlet of La Poya. You will find a chalet offering creamery, drinks and snacks in a very pleasant setting.
LE REFUGE DE LORIAZ
An exceptional panorama of the Mont-Blanc range!
The Loriaz refuge is located at 2220m altitude in the Vallorcine commune, between Chamonix and the Swiss border. It offers exceptional panoramic views of the Mont-Blanc massif and the Aiguilles Rouges. Discover the varied flora and fauna around the refuge the ideal place to dine on typical Savoyard produce. It is also the starting point for several hikes. Here are a few ideas:
- A 2-hour hike to Col de la Terrasse, or Pointe de la Terrasse from the refuge.
- To Lac du Vieil Emosson.
- On the dinosaur trail
