SKYWAY MONTE BIANCO CABLE CAR
Reach Pointe Helbronner from Courmayeur!
Treat yourself to one of the most spectacular cablecar rides in the Alps, from Courmayeur up to Punta Helbronner at 3,466m (11,371ft). You will reach the highest point, the Pointe Helbronner, at an altitude of 3,466 meters, where you will discover a circular terrace with a 360° panorama, the Sky Vertigo for walking on the void, and the Bistrot Panoramic for a high-altitude lunch break. The station also offers halls where you can see the jewels of our mountains in the Salle des cristaux and admire the view in the Salle Mont-Blanc
PRÉ SAINT-DIDIER VILLAGE
Italian charm near Courmayeur!
Pré-Saint-Didier is a small village in the Aosta Valley, located 5 km from Courmayeur. In this village you can find the QC Therme Pré-Saint-Didier, a thermal center, ideal to rest. Invigorating waterfalls, thermal water hydromassage, saunas and relaxation rooms await you at QC Therme Pré-Saint-Didier. You will also have the chance to enjoy a stunning view of the Mont Blanc from the outdoor pools. In Pré-Saint-Didier there is also the panoramic footbridge which allows you to have a panoramic view of the village. At a height of 160 metres, the footbridge offers incomparable views of the Mont Blanc range, the Gouffre waterfall and the thermal spring cave.
MOUNTAIN SWIMMING POOL
Swimming at the top!
Located at 1700 m above sea level, you will get fantastic views of the Alps. The 28-32° temperatures are such a nice treat for tired muscles if you are taking a break from hiking the TMB. During the summer, Courmayeur offers the chance to escape the heat by plunging into altitude with a view of Mont Blanc. Inside you will find a solarium and snack bar.
ALPINE MUSEUM
The history of mountaineering!
Located in Courmayeur this museum explains the history of mountaineering and the mountains. Sometimes some guides are on hand to provide more information. The two-storey museum feature a variety of themes tracing the different stages in the history of the alpine guiding profession. Discover a remarkable heritage of documents, photographs, mountaineering equipment, and memories belonging to Courmayeur’s alpine guides. A fascinating visit!
THE ALPINE BOTANICAL GARDEN SAUSSUREA
Learn all about local plants!
The Alpine Botanical Garden Saussurea is located at an altitude of 2,173 meters in the town of Courmayeur, in the upper Aosta Valley. Learn more about the local flora and how to preserve it. The garden is located near the Skyway Monte Bianco intermediate station and you can visit its different sections: in the first part, you will discover all the species that are grown in artificial rocks, and in the second part you will see the original alpine pasture, and in some parts, typical mountain environments have been recreated.
RAFTING EXCURSION

Rafting down the rapids of the Dora River is one of the summer activities in Courmayeur preferred by adrenaline junkies. Choose from 2 hours, 1/2 day to 2-day excursions. An experienced guide will escort you to ensure your safety and a lot of fun. A fun activity to share, rafting gives you the chance to have fun in complete safety and refresh yourself during the summer! Choose from a panel of programs to suit all ages, tastes and experience levels.

There are plenty of short day hikes you can do from Courmayeur. One of our favorites is the easy walk to the Ermitage Mountain Hut, which will take you one hour at most.
