A superb electric mountain bike (MTB) itinerary linking Chamonix to Annecy.
Separated by the Mont Blanc, Beaufortain, Aravis and Bornes massifs, this 80 km itinerary from Chamonix to Annecy promises a wide variety of landscapes.
From alpine pastures to city streets, from the MB Race to the Roc des Alpes, you’ll find a wide variety of downhill (and uphill) trails tracks to do!

From Chamonix to Annecy with an electric mountain bike (MTB):
Day 1 – Chamonix to La Giettaz :
Leaving Chamonix, we join the Bellevue cable car to avoid the difficult climb to Col de Voza. From here, we start by warming up on a 4×4 track before plunging onto a fast, slightly technical single towards Val Montjoie. We then head for Le Bettex to join the forest track to Combloux for lunch.
The afternoon promises to be a sporty one! We’ll reach various summits via the crests before taking a superb trail to La Giettaz.
Approximate distance: 40km – Elevation gain: +2150m / -2850m.
Day 2 – La Giettaz to Annecy :
This second day takes place in the mountain pastures in the morning. It will be interspersed with fairly steep climbs on 4×4 tracks and trails: a complete change of scenery in the middle of the Bornes-Aravis massif before arriving in the center of Thônes for lunch!
In the afternoon, we’ll ride along the Fier for around ten kilometers before climbing back up behind Mont Veyrier, from where we overlook Annecy.
Approximate distance: 40km – Elevation gain: +2050m / -2710m.
